1Who we are

Mawlytics is a strokes-gained golf practice and coaching app for players and coaches. It is provided by James Maw, trading as Mawlytics, a sole trader registered in England.

In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Mawlytics. "You" and "your" refer to the person using the service.

2Your account

To use Mawlytics you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You must not share your account or let anyone else use it on your behalf, except where the app provides a specific feature for coaches and players to work together.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at hello@mawlytics.com as soon as possible.

3Subscriptions and payment

Mawlytics is offered on a subscription basis. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

Free trial

New subscriptions may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your chosen payment method will be charged.

Billing

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• The price and billing frequency are shown to you before you subscribe.
• We may change our prices from time to time. Any change will apply to your next renewal, not the current period, and we will give you reasonable notice.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period, and you will not be charged again after that.

We do not offer refunds for the current billing period. Cancelling stops future payments but does not refund the period you are already in.

4Acceptable use

Mawlytics is provided for your personal golf practice and coaching. When using the service, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or data.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute the service or its content without our written permission.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or the servers and networks it runs on.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5Your content and data

You keep ownership of the data you enter into Mawlytics, such as your practice sessions, scores, and swing videos. By using the service, you give us permission to store and process that data so we can provide the app to you.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. That policy forms part of your agreement with us.

6Availability

We work hard to keep Mawlytics running smoothly, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or completely free of faults. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may update, change, or withdraw features from time to time as the app develops. Where a change materially affects you, we will aim to let you know.

7Our liability

Mawlytics is a practice and coaching tool. We provide it in good faith, but nothing in the app is a guarantee of any particular sporting result or improvement.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8Ending your agreement

You can stop using Mawlytics and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.

If your account is closed, the terms that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability, will still apply.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the service evolves or the law changes. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Mawlytics after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
